Where can you snap FOMO-inducing Las Vegas photos for Instagram? Well, I have a list of Las Vegas Instagram spots for you that will have everyone back home living their best lives through you.
One of our favorite things to do when we visit a place is to go around the city/town and find amazing photo spots. It can take a while! We’ve lived in Vegas for a while and put together this list to save you time.
Keep reading to learn all about the best picture-perfect stops in and around the famous Las Vegas that would make Elivs himself proud.
Seven Magic Mountains
These seven bright, colorful giants can be seen from I-15 and are less than a 30-minute drive south of the strip is the perfect Las Vegas Instagram spot.
Seven Magic Mountains are color-block painted boulders by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone are 30-35 feet tall and are worth the ride from Vegas. You have probably seen it all over social media in recent years, and you might want to make your way to see them because they won’t be there forever.
If you want to beat the crowds, the best time to visit is early morning. But the best lighting for photos would be the late afternoon.
With the surrounding desert and mountainous backdrop, this simple yet visually striking art installation earns a title as one of the best Instagram spots in Vegas.
There is a free parking lot, and entry is also free. Pets are allowed, and there are no bathrooms on the premises. Always bring water with you while exploring the desert, and don’t forget the SPF.
Las Vegas Sign
A Nevada icon, to say the least, and according to the line of tourists waiting to take their pictures, makes this one of the most Instagrammable places in Las Vegas—the Las Vegas Sign.
With its bright lights and vintage appeal, this is a great place to capture the memories of your visit to Sn City. If you have a good flash on your camera, it might be fun to get photos at night when the sign is all lit up.
Even if you visit the sign early in the morning, be prepared for a bit of a line. There is an area to park your car when seeing the sign that can only be accessed when driving south on Las Vegas Boulevard.
Which is the direction you would be driving if you were riding from the strip.
An easier way to get to the sign is Lyft or Uber. This way, you don’t have to worry about directions or trying to get one of the twelve available parking spots.
Valley of Fire State Park
Get a snap of yourself riding the Fire Wave at Valley of Fire State Park; this place is a photoshoot must! Hike Rainbow Vista, admire Elephant Rock, discover all of the red, orange, and pink sandstone, and so much more.
With it being just under a 1-hour drive from the Vegas strip and a $15 per vehicle entry fee, Valley of Fire makes for an excellent day trip.
The park has easy, medium, and hard hiking trails, places to have picnics, few crowds, and wildflowers; this is a shoo-in Las Vegas Instagram spot.
Arriving as early in the morning as possible is the best time to get all the best photos. Sunrise falling onto the painted sandstone desert is the best time to catch the perfect photos.
Red Rock Canyon
If you enjoy climbing, Red Rock Canyon is for you. With hiking and trails, camping, biking, horseback riding, or just enjoying the one-way 13-mile scenic drive, this park has something for everyone.
Besides the amazing canyon, seasonal and diverse plants and animals makes for some amazing photography. If you can’t get to Zion National Park, this canyon is a great substitute, especially, you guessed it, as early in the morning as possible.
Red Rock Canyon is less than a 30-minute drive from the Vegas Strip. Bring more water than you think you need, and dress in layers. Times and prices for entry change with the season, and you might need to make a reservation for entry.
The Neon Museum
Speaking of bright lights in the Sin City, The Neon Museum is a 12-minute drive from the Bellagio Hotel. It’s on Las Vegas Blvd, and depending on the time of year, it stays open as late as 12 am.
The Neon Museum is where all the old casino signs go to retire. That’s right; it’s an entire outdoor maze of old Las Vegas signage towering over you. If this isn’t an Instagram-worthy place in Las Vegas, I don’t know what is.
You need tickets to enter the museum, and it is best that you purchase them in advance. This is a great place to take photos, especially if you go to Vegas on a girls’ trip or a bachelor party. Daytime admission starts at $20, but this is a place you will want to visit at night.
Symphony Park
Located in Downtown Las Vegas, Symphony Park is a beautiful location fit for Las Vegas Instagram spots. It is less than a 15-minute drive from the Bellagio Hotel, is littered with amazing art installations, and has a fabulous view of Downtown Vegas.
You can walk around and relax in the park, sit on the soft grass, and take photos with the rainbow organ art installation behind you. Or stand in front of it and angle your camera below but looking up at you for a great shot.
Weekdays are generally the best days to visit this space and have it to yourself.
The Venetian
The Venetian is a Las Vegas staple smack dab in the middle of the strip, and it’s waiting for you to come and take advantage of its stunning scenery.
The indoor/outdoor gondola rides put a fun twist on Instagramming in Vegas. Take advantage as the sun goes down, relax your torso over the side of the gondola, and take a picture of you dragging your fingers through the water.
Take a walk inside and get your photo-op on in the Grand Colonnade. Take advantage of the sky-high dome ceilings, classic art, and endless marble.
Fremont Street
Surround yourself with the neon lights of old Las Vegas up on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas. This is where Las Vegas was born, so the neon signs you see here are the original casino spots from the 50s and ’60s and plenty of new attractions, such as the world’s longest TV screen.
Have some fun and zip line down Fremont Street. Get your photos in front of the vintage giant neon lights like double dice martini glass and the 90-foot-tall neon Vegas Vic cowboy. The light show runs from 6 pm to 2 am nightly.
When the light show begins, take a photo angled upward to the TV screen that is suspended above the street.
Paris Hotel
Head across the street from the Paris Hotel to the Bellagio fountains and snap some Icon pictures of yourself in front of the Las Vegas Eiffel Tower.
The best time of day to do this is either in the morning or evening to try and avoid massive building shadows. Or at night for the light show, which recurs every 30 minutes from sunset to midnight.
You can also go up the Eiffel Tower to view Las Vegas from above. The viewing deck is 46 stories up and is caged in for safety, but there are little holes in the cage you can poke your camera through for clear pictures of the Vegas strip.
Bellagio Fountains
The Bellagio Fountains are, without any doubt, one of the fantastic Las Vegas Instagram spots.
You can take amazing pics at the fountains during the day; they go off every 30 minutes from 3-6:30 pm. But every 15 minutes from 7 pm-12 am the fountains and their lights shine.
And getting a silhouette photo in the middle of the night with your arms thrown up is free. Now THAT makes for a perfect Instagram pic.
Caesars Palace
Of all the Instagrammable places in Vegas, the Trevi Fountain replica at the Caesars Palace is probably one of the most popular. Get a photo of you tossing a coin in for luck.
The best time to model at the famous Trevi Fountain is any time BUT early in the morning to avoid crowds and the shadows of the hotels from the late morning and midday sun.
Another spot on the grounds is the beautiful outdoor dome. It is moderately popular and makes for an amazing picture in the afternoon.
Little White Wedding Chapel
Another iconic Vegas sign worthy of a trip to take some pics. Fifteen minutes north of the Vegas strip is the world-famous little white chapel.
Head under the carport and take some pics that are angled upward to make sure all your Insta friends get to see all the cherubs painted on the ceiling.
Snap some pics on the sidewalk in front of the sign.
Vegas Instagram spots are relatively easy to come by. Still, this one is unique in that The Little White Wedding Chapel is a popular place amongst the Hollywood heavyweights such as Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow, and Bruce Willis and Demi Moore were all married here.
LINQ Promenade
Across the street from Caesars Palace is the LINQ Promenade.
In front of a Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop is a fountain, and right here is where you can find a really good angle and take amazing pics at night with the High Roller and all of its glorious neon lighting and tall palm trees in the background.
This is a great place to take photos because it’s on the strip, so you don’t have to travel far, and it has all the Vegas vibey lights you could ask for in an Insta-worthy post.
New York New York Hotel
One of the most well-known skylines in the world has been sized down and living on the Vegas Strip for over two decades. If you haven’t been to NYC yet, or even if you have, this is the perfect opportunity to get all of the NYC goodies in one pic.
You can find a cute Las Vegas Instagram spot by crossing halfway on the Brooklyn Bridge replica, which doubles as a walkway connecting The Park and Park MGM Las Vegas, and get a snap there.
Try putting your camera down low and angling it up towards you to fit the bridge n the photo.
You can get a more relaxed picture, surrounded by palm trees and sitting in a park diagonal on Tropicana Ave at the Tropicana Hotel (which unfortunately will be no longer after spring 2024).
Strat Observation Deck
This 360° view of Vegas is over 1100 feet up, and with restaurants, a wedding chapel, and a sky-high ride, there isn’t much you can’t do up there.
Located on the top levels of the Strat Hotel and with both indoor and outdoor observation decks that are open from 10-1 am, this place is THE go-to for Vegas Instagram spots.
Head over at night and get some amazing views and photos of Vegas in all her glimmering neon glory.
If you’re in a daring mood, get some pics of you on the terrifying rides on the very top of the Strat building, including the roller coaster ride that dangles off the side of the building.
Las Vegas Arts District
Between the Strip and Fremont Street hides a quiet indie art hub, craft beer bars, vintage shops, and mural after mural.
The Las Vegas Arts District is a different vibe than the Strip. While only a 6-minute car ride from the Strat Hotel, taking pics here is an easy win. Meander around in the late afternoon and strike some poses in front of the warehouses covered in murals.
Find The Art Motel, the murals here are changed yearly. Head inside to explore 13000sq ft of immersive art experience. This place alone gets the Arts District on the Las Vegas Instagram spots list.
Cafe Lola
Cafe Lola is a new addition to the Forum Shoppes at Caesars Palace on the second level, deserving of a visit. (They also have a few other locations around the city, and it’s one of our favorite places to go.)
Looking for cute desserts, yummy brunch, and pic-worthy charcuterie boards? Cafe Lola is the perfect cute pink eatery with a booth in the back surrounded by flowers, chandeliers, and a 3D mural perfect for solo or group photos.
Having trouble making it to brunch? Dress up and head over for an afternoon pot of tea accompanied by an assortment of delectable Instagrammable pastries.
Whether you’re sipping on mimosas in a cafe fit for a queen, striking your best poses in Paris, or surfing the Fire Wave at sunrise, your socials will be all abuzz with these hot Las Vegas Instagram spots. All you have to do is remember to have fun!
